WBCS Mains Exam Date 2024

The Commission has announced the WBCS Mains Exam Date 2024, which is scheduled for 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th August 2024 (except 19th August 2024 due to Rakshabandhan). Candidates who qualify for the WBCS Prelims Exam can start preparation accordingly.

WBPSC Application Form

Aspirants can apply for the WBPSC exam by visiting the official website of WBPSC. The WBPCS Application Form process is through online mode only and multiple applications from a single candidate are strictly prohibited. Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the WBPSC WBCS Exam:

Applicants first visit the official website of WBPSC
Applicant needs to click on the “One Time Registration” button on the homepage of WBPSC for registration
Applicants need to fill up the required details for registration ID and password and will receive an SMS or e-mail from WBPSC as verification.
Now they have to log in with the same Registration ID and password that has been provided at the time of one-time registration.
They have to fill in all the required information that is asked.
Finally, they have to pay the Application fee and then submit and print the submitted application form for future use

Candidates belonging to the Unreserved category have to pay the application fee; however, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD (40% disability or more) in West Bengal are exempt from any kind of fee.

WBCS Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are supposed to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Both educational and age limits are very important to be mentioned for the exam. WBPSC Exam Pattern

The WBPSC Exam is conducted in three stages: Preliminary, Main, and Interviews. The Preliminary stage is qualifying in nature. Candidates who clear the Preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam. The Preliminary exam is an MCQ-based examination, and the Main exam will be both MCQ-based and subjective. The purpose of the Preliminary exam is to check the candidates’ basic knowledge.
