The dates for the UPSC Geo-scientist 2025 have been announced:
Stage-I will be held on 9 February 2025.
Stage-II will take place on 21& 22 June 2025.
Candidates applying for Chemist/Chemical and Geophysicist positions need to take the exam on June 21 and 22, 2025. Candidates applying for Jr. Hydrologist positions will also have exams on these dates but only for specific papers. If a candidate misses any part of the written exam, their application will be rejected, and the answers they did submit will not be considered. Candidates must apply online using the link https://www.upsconline.nic.in. First, they need to register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the Commission’s website. This registration is only needed once in a lifetime and can be done anytime during the year. If you’re already registered, you can directly fill out the online application for the exam.
- Changing Your OTR Profile: You can only change your OTR profile once after registering. You have until 7 days after the application window for your first exam closes to make changes. For example, if you register for the OTR and then apply for an exam, you can update your OTR profile until 17.10.2023.
- Changing Your Application Form: After the application window closes, you can make corrections to your application form for 7 days, from 11.10.2023 to 17.10.2023. If you need to change your OTR profile during this time, you must do so directly through the OTR platform, not through the application form correction window.
- No Withdrawal: Once you submit your application, you cannot withdraw it.
