UPSC CMS Syllabus 2024

Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC CMS Syllabus 2024. There are two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) in the written exam, each of which is worth up to 250 points. General medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, and preventive social & community medicine are all topics covered in the articles. Candidates who pass the written exam must then show up for a personality test, which carries 100 marks.

There are 2 sections in this paper: General Medicine, which consists of 96 questions, and Pediatrics, which has 24 questions.

  • It is an MCQ examination, Each Question will have 4 options.
  • The Total Number of questions asked are 120 for total mark of 250
  • Negative Marking is applicable 0.33 Mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • If two or more answers are given by the candidate, it will be considered as the wrong answer and negative marking is applicable even if one of the options is correct.
  • There is no negative marking for unanswered questions.
