UPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025, PCS Age Limit and Education

Uttar Pradesh Service Public Commission has official notification mentions UPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025. The Provincial Civil Service Examination is the official name of the PCS examination. The eligibility requirements for the PCS examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission are listed in this article. It includes educational requirements, age restrictions, and physical fitness. The educational requirements for various positions vary. All posts have an age range of 21 to 40 years. Age relaxation applies to candidates from the reserved categories.

UPPSC Age Limit 2025

In order to take the exam, a candidate must ensure that they meet both the minimum and maximum age requirements as well as the requirements for a qualifying degree. UPPSC Exam Stages 2025

The UPPSC PCS exam is conducted in three different stages namely the Preliminary Exam (Objective Type & Multiple choice), Mains Exam (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination) and Viva- Voce/Interview (Personality Test).

UPPSC Educational Qualification 2025

To take the exam, a candidate must meet all of the educational requirements listed below. The candidate applying for the examination must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a state or federally recognised university.Candidates in their final semester or those awaiting results can also apply for the exam. They must, however, submit their final semester grade report during the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission.In addition to the prerequisites listed above, some positions have additional criteria. The candidate must have a UG or PG degree in the relevant discipline; the candidate’s CGPA or percentage is irrelevant.

District Audit Officer The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
District Cane Officer The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture
Veterinary and Welfare officer The candidate must hold a degree either in B.V.Sc. and A.H or any equivalent degree
Account and Audit Officer (Mandi Parishad) The candidate must hold a degree in Commerce with Accountancy
Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector The candidate must hold a Master’s degree(PG) in Agriculture Science and the CCC Certificate
Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I)/Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade II) The candidate must hold either a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Science with Physics or Mechanical Engineering as one subject.

UPPSC Physical Measurements 2025

The board also follows rigorous physical body measurements of the candidates applying for the exam. The posts for which physical appearances are measured:

What qualification needs PCS?

Since the minimum educational requirement for the PCS examinations is a Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from any recognised University or any other similar qualification, you will not be allowed to take the exams as a 12th-grade graduate.

How many attempts are there in UP PCS?
