Telangana State Public Service Commission has released an Official Notification for the Group 1 Exam to screen candidates for positions such as Deputy Collector, District Registrar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Municipal Commissioner, Assistant Audit Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Assistant Treasury Officer, and another post in the state. The TSPSC has announced a total of 563 Group 1 vacancies to be filled during the recruitment. TSPSC has revised the selection process, which comprises Prelims and Mains exams to identify eligible candidates for various TSPSC Group 1 Services.

Important Notes
- Candidates must appear for all papers in the Mains Examination. Absence in any paper will lead to automatic disqualification.
- The General English paper is of X Class Standard and serves as a qualifying test. Marks obtained in this paper are not counted for ranking.
- The Mains Examination will be conducted in English, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates must choose their preferred medium of instruction for answering the papers and adhere to it consistently.

TSPSC Group 1 Interview
As per the TSPSC Group 1 Notification, there is no interview for the TSPSC Group 1 recruitment 2024 exam. The final selection is based on the main exam, and candidates scoring above the TSPSC Group 1 Cut-Off marks in the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam.
