TNPSC Group 1 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Physical Fitness: Candidates should meet the prescribed physical standards set by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil is essential.

Preference shall be given to candidates possessing any of the following qualifications: (a) Post Graduate Degree in Rural Services of the Gandhigram Rural Institute (b) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Extension (c) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology.
6.	District Employment Officer	Degree from a recognized university. Preference shall be given to graduates in Economics, Education, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology, and to those with Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science and experience in industrial or personnel management or labour welfare.

TNPSC Group 1 Selection Process

Preliminary Examination: The preliminary exam tests candidates’ general knowledge and aptitude through objective-type questions.
