Demand of the Question-This question demands understanding of privileges of MPs, both collective and individually.

Directive Word– Enumerate- Mention and describe the privileges. Discuss- This requires describing the significance and its pros and cons.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Mention the source of the privileges of both the houses.

Body-In the first part, mention collective privileges of the Parliament, give some examples. The second part mentions the individual privileges of the MPs. In the next part, mention the importance, why are these necessary for functioning of Parliament. Also in the last part, mention the challenges that arise due to these privileges.

Conclusion– Mention the importance of these privileges and suggest ways to protect them.

Demand of the Question– This question demands understanding of Rajya Sabha as an important pillar of Federal structure.

Directive Word– Why- This demands reasons. Comment- This keyword demands mentioning both agreements and disagreement for the statement.

Structure of the Answer

Intro–Introduce by describing the upper house of the Parliament.

Body-In the first part, mention the reasons by describing why is Rajya Sabha essential to Parliament. In the second part, mention why is Rajya Sabha essential to Federal Structure. In the last part, address the debate of is Rajya Sabha second or secondary part of Parliament and If Rajya Sabha can be removed. Use both sides to come to the Conclusion.

Conclusion– State the Basic Structure Doctrine and connect federalism and Rajya Sabha. Also mention the importance of Rajya Sabha while stating ways for its betterment.

Directive Word– Discuss- This keyword demands mentioning of the features of the IWT, its advantages and challenges over other media.

Structure of the Answer

Intro– Describe what is IWT, mention data about its status in India. And map and identify important IWT.

Body-In the first part, mention the detailed features, requirements, and finances. In the next part, state the advantages of the IWT along with case study of these advantages in one successful case in India. In the next part, mention the concerns and challenges along with examples. In the last part, suggest ways to solve the challenges and address the concerns.

Conclusion-State the importance of IWT, and mention the urgency of its development as an alternate and viable mode of transport. Suggest ways to fight the challenges and contribute more in transport.
