Q) How can ordinary citizens play an important role against Left Wing Extremism? (10 marks, 150 words)

वामपंथी उग्रवाद के ख़िलाफ़ आम नागरिक कैसे अहम भूमिका निभा सकते हैं?

Demand of the Question– The question intends to check the understanding of Left Wing Extremism, and ways in which LWE can be tackled by a common man.

Directive Word–

How– It is a direct word which requires a candidate to mention cause-effect relationship along with examples to support the causes.

Structure of the Answer–

Introduction– Use a standard definition of LWE and mention broad areas where ordinary citizens are affected by it or mention a successful model of Andhra Pradesh or Chattisgarh, where ordinary people have helped tackle LWE.

Body–

First, describe the ways in which people can help tackle LWE, include few points about how they hinder also.

Secondly, mention points from above used model and how people played the role.

Conclusion-Mention what are few shortcomings that need to be addressed, and suggest ways in which it can be addressed. Use names of credible reports especially from Ministry of Home Affairs.

कृषि का जलवायु प्रमाणन क्या है? भारत में इसके लिए की गई पहलों की चर्चा कीजिए।

Demand of the Question-The question demands understanding of resilient and sustainable agriculture.

Directive Word–

What– demands definition and a short description of the concept. Discuss- demands addressing the initiatives, its pros and shortcomings.

Structure of the Answer–

Introduction–

State the importance of the need of climate proofing with recent reports, like IPCC. Provide a definition of what is climate agriculture and its benefits.

Body–

Mention the initiatives taken up in India, by GoI, entrepreneurs, scientists and agriculturalists, and civil society. Address the need of this and what are the shortcomings

Conclusion– Use reports or data to show urgency of climate proofing. Suggest ways to address the shortcomings and way forward.

Demand of the Question–

The question requires understanding of what the cryosphere is and its importance in climate and climate related phenomena, like Climate Change and global warming.

Directive Word–

How– It is a direct word which requires a candidate to mention cause-effect relationship along with examples to support the causes. Explain- It requires a detailed explanation of the topic along with positives, negatives and examples.

Structure of the Answer–

Introduction–

Use data or reports to show that the cryosphere is declining, and its urgency in arresting the decline. Link with its importance to climate.

Body–

Firstly, address the first part of the question stating how the cryosphere is related to climate, along with its importance. In the second part, explain the importance of the cryosphere in detail along with examples, and location where this is happening. What will happen if the cryosphere continues to decline? Mention some points about the shortcomings and failure of ways to arrest its decline.

Conclusion–

Mention reports to state need to curb cryosphere decline, implication of failure to curb it and suggest ways which it can be done.

This question requires understanding of the concept of green roof.

What– It is a direct word which requires the candidate to mention the definition of the concept. Discuss– It requires detailed discussing of the topic both positives and negatives and examples

Structure of the Answer–

Introduction–

Mention the definition of green roof and where all it can be used. Link with the ecological function for the body.

Body–

Mention the details and explain the points as to what ecological practices it performs. Mention some shortcomings of it. Close the body with examples where these are being used and their impact.

Conclusion–

Mention the impacts of green roof along with initiatives and suggestions which can promote this while addressing the shortcomings.
