SSC Stenographer Syllabus 2024
Candidates preparing for the SSC Stenographer Recruit should have an idea about the syllabus and exam pattern. The SSC Steno recruits Grade C and Grade D non-gazetted posts in various government ministries, departments, and offices. This national-level examination comprises two phases: a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a Shorthand Skill Test. The CBT in Tier 1 consists of 200 questions, with each question carrying one mark. - Grade D: 80 words per minute (w.p.m) for 8 minutes

Qualifying Criteria for Skill Test:
- Grade C: 5% mistakes allowed (10% for OBC/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen)
- Grade D: 7% mistakes allowed (10% for OBC/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen)
