SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2024, Age Limit and Qualification

Staff Selection Commission sets the eligibility criteria for the SSC Stenographer Exam. The Commission sets the eligibility based on educational qualifications, nationality, and age. SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2024

The Commission Recruits the Grade C and Grade D posts of SSC Stenographer 2024. The Basic eligibility is that the Candidate must be clear of Class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or institution. Age Limit for Grade C (18-30 years) and Grade D (18-27 years) with age relaxation for reserved categories. Indian citizens, subjects of Bhutan/Nepal, Tibetan refugees, and Indian-origin migrants with permanent intent to settle in India. Unlimited attempts within the age limit. Whereas Border Roads Organisation (BRO) post Only male candidates are eligible with specific physical standards and medical examinations.

SSC Stenographer Age Limit

The Age Limit criteria provide that the age of the registered applicants be between a minimum age limit and the maximum age limit; according to the commission, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years. Specific categories of candidates are to be exempted from the standard age limit set by the Staff Selection Commission. These categories are SC/ ST, OBC, PwD (Unreserved), PwD (OBC), PwD (SC/ ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and Defense Personnel.

SSC Stenographer Nationality

The Conducting Authority mentioned the eligibility regarding the nationality, citizenship and residency considerations. Interested Candidates must refer to the bullet points to know the nationality conditions of the candidates:

  • An Indian Citizen
  • A subject of Nepal/ Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before the 1st of January 1962 to live permanently in India
