SSC MTS Age limit
The age limit for SSC MTS positions varies depending on the specific department
- Candidates should be aged between 18 years-25 years for MTS in CBN (Department of Revenue)
- Candidates should be aged between 18 years-27 years for few posts of MTS in CBIC (Department of Revenue)
- In addition to the aforementioned age requirements, candidates from reserved categories are granted age relaxation in accordance with Government Regulations.

SSC MTS Age Relaxation
Aspirant has to provide the a valid document to get the age relaxation benefits and varies according to the caste and other physical challenges.
- With age relaxation maximum age can go up to 45 years.
- It is important to remember that the age relaxation is only applicable to the upper age limit and not to the lower age limit.
- This means that the lower age limit of 18 years remains the same for all candidates regardless of their category.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

SSC MTS Nationality
- Must be a subject of Nepal, or
- Must be a subject of Bhutan, or
- A refugee from Tibet who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently in India, or
- A person of Indian descent who, with the intention of permanently settling in India, has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
