SSC GD Syllabus 2025
Candidates preparing for the SSC General Duty Constable recruitment process should plan their preparation according to the latest SSC GD Syllabus and Exam Pattern. SSC GD Exam Pattern will consist of 4 sections. The exam is conducted online, with 80 multiple-choice questions and a total mark of 160. There are four sections, each containing 20 questions. There are 0.50 marks deducted for every incorrect answer. A total of 60 minutes is given to the candidate for the computer-based examination.

SSC GD Hindi Syllabus 2025
This section will be conducted totally in Hindi to calculate the candidate’s proficiency in the Hindi language. The topics covered in this section are mentioned below:

SSC GD Exam Pattern 2025
The exam Pattern for SSC GD will consist of 4 sections. There will be 80 questions total, each worth 160 marks, and each section will have 20 questions. The exam will now be held for 160 marks, whereas it was earlier conducted for 100 marks.
The Computer Based exam will consist of four different subjects namely;
- General Intelligence & Reasoning,
- General Knowledge & General Awareness,
- Elementary Mathematics, and
- English/Hindi.

The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam is 60 minutes. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted in both Hindi and English. Please note that there will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect attempts in the SSC GD online test, and all questions will be of the 10th class level.
SSC GD Physical Standards Test/Physical Efficiency Test
Based on their performance in the Computer-Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests will be conducted at various centers chosen by the CAPFs. Verification of candidates’ eligibility and documents will take place during the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Those selected for PST/PET will undergo biometric verification before the tests. The PST will involve measurements of height, weight, and chest (where applicable).

The shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination conducted by the Medical Boards established by the CAPFs to know their physical and medical fitness.

SSC GD Medical Test 2025
The SSC GD medical test is the second last step before the document verification in selecting candidates for the General Duty (GD) Constable position in the SSC exams in India. This test checks the candidates are physically fit and healthy for the job. During the test, candidates undergo full body check-up by a medical officer or doctor, who examines their vision, hearing, and overall fitness. If candidates pass the medical test, they are eligible for the final selection or else they may be disqualified. This examination will follow the Uniform Guidelines for the Recruitment Medical Examination for Gazetted Officers (GOs) and Non-Gazetted Officers (NGOs) in the CAPFs.
