The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for SSC GD 2025, inviting applications for 39,481 General Duty Constable positions. This recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies across various paramilitary forces, including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA, and SSF. SSC GD Constable Apply Online 2025

The Commission has started the SSC GD 2025 Apply online along with Official Notification on its website. You can apply for the job from 5th September 2024 to 14th October 2024. The Last day for the SSC GD Constable application fee is 15th October 2024. This is the Computer Exam, followed by PET/PST and will take place tentatively in January or February 2025. The actual exam dates will soon be published by the conducting authority, when once released we will update the same in this article.

Steps to Apply Online for SSC GD Constable 2024?

Candidates must carefully follow the steps and enter all the required details accurately because once the application form is submitted it cannot be changed. But in case an error happens, the candidate have to correct the form which will be notified by the SSC for 2 days for Rs 200.

  • Visit the Official SSC Website
    • Go to the official SSC website.
  • Register as a New User
    • Click on the ‘New User? Register Now’ link.
    • Fill in the required details such as name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, contact details, and other personal information.
    • Confirm your mobile number and email ID. You will receive a registration ID and password.
  • Log In to Your Account
    • Use the registration ID and password to log in to your account.
  • Fill Out the Application Form
    • Enter personal, educational, and contact details in the application form.
    • Choose your preferred exam centers and specify the CAPFs/Organizations you prefer.
    • Upload the necessary documents, including a photograph and signature, adhering to the specified dimensions.
  • Upload Documents
    • Photograph: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 20 KB – 50 KB, JPEG format.
    • Signature: 4 cm x 2 cm, 10 KB – 20 KB, JPEG format.
  • Pay the Application Fee
    • Application fee: Rs. 100 for General and OBC categories; no fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Females.
    • Payment can be made online using debit/credit cards, net banking, or offline via SBI Challan.
  • Review and Submit
    • Verify all the information entered in the application form.
    • Click on the ‘Submit’ button after ensuring all details are correct.
  • Print the Application Form
    • After submission, take a printout of the application form for future reference and keep it safe.
  • Application Correction (if needed)
    • If you need to make any corrections, use the application correction window available from November 5-7, 2024.

SSC GD Application Fee 2025

Candidates from General , OBC and EWS categories need to pay Rs. 100/- when filling out the SSC GD 2025 application form. And for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates do not have to pay this fee, its free for them. The fee can be paid online using a debit/credit card or net banking or through UPI.

Documents are to be Uploaded at the time of Registration

Candidates have to upload a scanned color passport-size photograph in JPEG/JPG format (20 KB to 50 KB) and a scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB). The photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) and must be taken within the last three months. The photo should be without a cap and spectacles, with a clear front view of the face with a bright white background. If any file is not uploaded appropriately, the application form will be rejected. for clarity refer the following table.
