The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consist of four parts: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.

• General Awareness: Check your knowledge of global affairs and general knowledge.

This section is considered the easiest among all. On average, candidates attempt more than 21+ questions in this section.

In this section the difficulty level is Easy, 22+ is a good attempt.

SSC CGL General Awareness Analysis: 23rd September 2024 Shift 2

This section was tough. On average, candidates attempted more than 12 questions. There were no direct questions; candidates had to use the elimination method.

SSC CGL Mathematics Analysis: 23rd September 2024 Shift 2

Just like last year, this section was easy. Candidates usually finished it within 25 minutes, and attempting more than 21 questions is considered good.

SSC CGL English Comprehension Analysis: 23rd September 2024 Shift 2

This section is tougher than the others. The vocabulary is moderate, and the cloze test is difficult. On average, candidates attempted more than 22 questions in this section.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024

• CGL Tier 1- 200 marks
• Each section in the SSC CGL Tier 1 contains 25 questions.
• Each section – 50 marks.
• You get 2 marks for each correct attempt
• You lose 0.5 marks for each incorrect attempt.
• The exam is qualifying in nature.
