SSC CGL Exam Analysis 2024, 10 September 1st,2nd and 3rd Shifts Difficulty Level

Staff Selection Commission successfully conducted the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts of the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam on 10 September 2024. The 1st Shift was from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2nd shift was from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM. The third shift is now ended which is scheduled from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. If your exam is coming in next upcoming days, analyze the questions from earlier to identify important topics and improve your preparation. The Commission is conducting the CGL Tier 1 exam in three shifts each day from the 09th to the 26th of September in shift wise manner.

SSC CGL Shift Timings 2024

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is conducted in multiple shifts throughout the day, we have provided the information about the starting and end time of each shift. There are four shifts in a day, the first shift starts at 9:00 AM and the last shift starts at 04:00 PM. Each shift lasts for 1 hour. Check the table below for the SSC CGL 2024 shift timings.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024

The SSC CGL Tier 1 consists of four sections:

  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning
  2. General Awareness
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. English Comprehension

Each section has 25 questions for 50 marks. You get 2 marks for each correct answer and lose 0.5 marks for each wrong answer. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is just for qualifying, its marks cannot be counted for the final merit list. Here is the exam pattern for SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1:
