Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL Notification 2024 on its official website for 17727 vacancies. Candidates who are interested and eligible for the combined graduate level examination 2024 can apply from 24 June to 24 July. The Last date to pay the form fee is 25 July. The Application correction window will remain open on 10 and 11 August. The commission conducts the national-level exam for the recruitment of candidates for various Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts, such as Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Inspector (Examiner), Sub Inspector, Assistant Section Officer and more.

    • Desirable: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
  • Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level; or
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade II:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
    • The candidate must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years of the graduation course.
  • Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
    • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
    • Desirable: Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
  • All Other Posts:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

  1. A citizen of India, or
  2. A subject of Nepal, or
  3. A subject of Bhutan, or
  4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates belonging to categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

SSC CGL Selection Process
