Case Study of the Day: SMART Anganwadi, Vadodra

SMART Anganwadi is an Anganwadi centre located in the Wagodiya block of Vadodara district, Gujarat. It was started in 2015 by a group of local women who were concerned about the lack of access to quality early childhood care and education in their community. The Anganwadi provides a variety of services to children under the age of 6, including: Early childhood education, Nutrition, Health care, Social and emotional development.

The SMART Anganwadi Model

The SMART Anganwadi model is a unique approach to addressing the challenges faced by Anganwadi workers. The model is based on the following principles:
