Only a select number of candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process, the RPSC RAS Mains Exam, after passing the preliminary exam, which is a screening examination. The RPSC RAS Exam Pattern is provided below:

• General Knowledge and General Science questions are included in the RPSC RAS Prelims Exam. The RPSC RAS Exam consists of 150 total questions, each worth 200 points, and is scheduled to last 3 hours (180 minutes).
• The merit list will not take into account the prelim exam scores.
