Changes in Punjab State Civil Services CCE Announced
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has introduced key updates to the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination to be held in the future. As per the public notice dated 23rd December 2024, the changes are as follows:
- CSAT Paper Update:
- The CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) paper will now be qualifying in nature, with no negative marking.
- Candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks to qualify for further stages of the examination.
- Syllabus Enhancement:
- The syllabus for General Studies will include topics on History, Culture, Economy, and Geography, with a special focus on Punjab.
- Age Limit for DSP Post:
- The maximum age limit for the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) post remains unchanged at 28 years, aiming to provide better opportunities to the younger generation.
