PPSC Age Limit

It is expected that the notification for 2025 would be the same as last year’s. Please note that the information provided below is specific to the previous cycle and includes the exceptions to the PPSC age limit.

• The PPSC exam has a 21-year-old minimum age requirement for applicants.
• The PPSC examination has a maximum age requirement of 37.

PPSC Education Qualification

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputable college or university.
• While pursuing the qualifying degree, the candidate might be allowed to sit for a preliminary exam.
• No candidate shall be eligible to take the preliminary competitive examination unless he or she has passed the matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other examination in the Punjabi language that may be specified by the Government from time to time.
• The terms “recognised university” and “institution” as used in the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules of 1994 must have the same meanings for the purposes of eligibility for the exam.

PPSC Physical Standard

• Each 180-minute paper will be an explanatory one. The time allotted for each paper will be extended by 30 minutes for candidates who are blind or visually impaired. There must be an attempt on each of the seven papers.
