IAS Officer Allowances 

In Perks being an IAS officer, the HRA allowance is 24%, 16%, and 8% according to 7th Pay Commission guidelines. HRA are based on the city where you are assigned. In addition to these, the 7th Pay Commission has suggested improving HRA while DA crosses 50% and 100%. There has been no increase in the transport allowance. However, the existing Transport Allowance has been combined with the 125% DA. In addition to this, the Pay Band – Grade Pay System that was previously in place has been eliminated by the 7th Pay Commission.
