Panchayat se Parliament 2.0 Initiative
- It is organised by the National Commission for Women (NCW), in collaboration with the Lok Sabha Secretariat and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- The programme is organised in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda.
- Aim: To empower women representatives from Panchayati Raj institutions by enhancing their understanding of constitutional provisions, parliamentary procedures and governance.

- 502 elected women representatives from 22 states and Union Territories participated
- Focus on enhancing leadership skills in constitutional provisions, governance, and parliamentary procedures
- Participants were mainly from Scheduled Tribes

- Workshops on the 73rd Constitutional Amendment and Panchayats (Extension to the Scheduled Areas) (PESA) Act
- Discussions on women’s participation in governance
- Focus on leadership in education, rural development, and government schemes for tribal communities

- Participants visited important locations such as:
- Parliament House
- Rashtrapati Bhawan
- Samvidhan Sadan
- Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya
- Aimed at giving participants a deeper understanding of government functioning
Commemoration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 150th Birth Anniversary
- The launch of Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0 coincided with the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a tribal freedom fighter
- Honoring his legacy in empowering tribal communities
