The Network Readiness Index (NRI) 2024, published by the Portulans Institute, a non-profit educational institute (Washington DC) and Saïd Business School, ranks 133 countries based on their digital readiness, covering areas like technology adoption, governance, digital impact, and societal engagement.
The rankings emphasize significant disparities, with high-income economies dominating the top positions, particularly in Europe and North America. In contrast, emerging markets like Vietnam (45th) and Rwanda (91st) show notable progress, highlighting efforts to enhance digital inclusion and infrastructure.
