The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA exam twice annually. The NDA cut-off score for 2024, which determines eligibility for the next stage of selection, will be released by the UPSC after the entire selection process is complete.

NDA 1 Cut Off 2023

The National Defence Academy (NDA) 1 2023 exam was held on April 16, 2023. The exam is written and offline and can be taken in English or Hindi. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) publishes the NDA 1 2023 notification and important dates.

NDA 2 Cut Off 2023

On September 3, 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) held the NDA 2 2023 exam. After the official release of the final results, the NDA cutoff for both exam sessions is released. NDA cutoff will be released separately for the written exam and the final selection.

NDA Exam Minimum Marks Required

On September 19, 2022, the final result of the UPSC NDA 2 exam was announced. The UPSC NDA 2 cut-off marks and the candidates’ mark sheets will be published on the official website of the commission after the final result. The estimated cut-off scores for the written exam are given here in the table for candidates to view.

Note

When two or more candidates obtained the same total score in the NDA & NA Examination (II), 2021, the tie(s) were resolved using the following guidelines that were accepted by the Commission:

In the case of an equal score altogether, the older applicant may be given a higher rank; and
If two candidates are the same age and receive the same total score, the candidate with the higher overall score in the written exams may be given a higher ranking.

Candidates need to pass each subject with a minimum of 25% marks. However, there is no sectional cut-off. The cutoff for the written exam is cumulative of marks of both the subjects (Mathematics and General Ability Test).

What is cutoff marks in NDA?

The NDA 1 Cut Off 2023 for the written exam out of 900 is 301 marks with at least 25% marks in each subject, and marks secured by the last recommended candidate (Final Stage) out of 1800 is 664 marks.

What is the passing marks out of 900 for NDA?

The candidate must, however, score more than 360 marks out of 900 to clear the examination and get selected for the SSB interview.

Is 400 a good score in NDA?
