NDA 1 Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for the NDA 1 2025 exam, candidates must ensure they meet the NDA eligibility criteria specified by UPSC. Here’s what you need to know about the eligibility for NDA 1 2025:

1. Age Limit:

• Candidates must be unmarried.
• For NDA 1, candidates must have been born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.

2. Educational Qualification:

• Army Wing: Candidates must have passed 12th class or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Air Force & Navy Wings: Candidates must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.

3. Nationality:

• Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal, or persons of Indian origin from other countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and several East African nations are eligible to apply.

UPSC NDA 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The NDA exam pattern consists of two main papers:

1. Mathematics:
   • Duration: 2.5 hours
   • Maximum Marks: 300
   • Subjects: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, etc.
2. General Ability Test (GAT):
   • Duration: 2.5 hours
   • Maximum Marks: 600
   • Subjects: English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Current Affairs, etc.

Both papers are objective in nature, and candidates are required to attempt them in the offline mode. The total marks for both papers combined is 900.

NDA 1 Selection Process 2025

The NDA selection process is a two-stage procedure:

1. Written Examination: This is the first stage of the selection process.
2. SSB Interview: Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview, which includes various tests to evaluate the candidate’s personality, intelligence, and physical standards.
