Decreasing Rainfall

  • In 2022: Uttarakhand received 2,400 mm annual rainfall.
  • 2024: The rainfall dropped to 2,000 mm.

Facts

  • Asan Conservation Reserve is the only Ramsar site in Uttarakhand.
