The MP Judiciary Exam or the MP Civil Judge Junior Division exam is conducted by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh to recruit Civil Judges. MP Judiciary Eligibility 2024
A candidate must have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India or be an exceptional law graduate with outstanding academic performance and had at least 70% marks (for general and OBC candidates) or 50% marks (for reserved category candidates) with no backlogs. If you have experience, your continuous practice as an advocate is counted from the date of enrolment. You must have passed the All India Bar Examination within two years of enrolment and obtained a “Certificate of Practice.” You will also have a Certificate of Continuous Practice from the authority, depending on where you practice:

- For district court practice, get it from the Principal District Judge.
- For High Court practice, get it from the Principal Registrar/Registrar (Judicial).
- For practice at the Bar Association, get it from the President/Secretary.
You must provide six certified copies of order papers or judgments from cases you handled each year, showing your name as an advocate. For age limits, you must be between 21 and 35 years old as of 1 January 2024. There are some relaxations:
- Up to 3 years for persons with disabilities and for SC, ST, or OBC candidates.
- Up to 38 years for government servants.
- An additional 1-year relaxation due to no recruitment advertisements in 2022

The benefit of relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to the disabled candidate only in case of 40 percent or more disability on the date of application. Educational Qualifications
According to the latest notification for the MP Judicial Service Civil Judge exam, candidates must have completed either a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a recognized law university, candidates should have at least 3 years of advocacy experience by the application deadline. In terms of academic performance, candidates who have passed all their exams on the first attempt must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 70% marks for General categories. For SC, ST, and OBC categories, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required during the 3 to 5 years of their law degree.
