Nationwide Mahila Gram Sabhas on March 8, 2025

Following the convention, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj will organize Mahila Gram Sabhas (Women’s Village Assemblies) on March 8, marking International Women’s Day. These assemblies will serve as grassroots-level forums to promote women’s participation in governance, discuss local issues, and implement gender-responsive policies in rural India.
