Vision of Government

The Mahatma Gandhi Bunkar Bima Scheme was established by the government to carry out its aim for the welfare of handloom weavers throughout the nation. These initiatives are set up to broaden the scope of the scheme’s beneficiaries and effectively carry it out on the ground. In addition, the government hosts Hastkala Sahyog events in collaboration with state governments to inform weavers about the programme.
