• The minimum age to apply for this examination is 21 years.
• The maximum age to apply for this examination is 38 years for general candidates.

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Students in their final year of a bachelor’s degree program are also eligible
• Final-year students must provide proof of passing degree to be eligible to appear for the KPSC KAS Mains exam.

Nationality

• Candidates must be the citizen of India.
• Candidates must have a domicile certificate of Karnataka.
• Candidates from any state in India are able to apply for the KPSC KAS examination, but it is compulsary that they must pass the Kannada language examination
