The JPSC Eligibility Criteria for the JPSC Exam is open to applicants between the ages of 20 and 35. The JPSC Exam aids in the selection of qualified applicants for various administrative agencies. After passing the exam, candidates are appointed to positions such as Deputy Collector, DSP, and several others.

JPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025

The JPSC Eligibility Criteria are made available along with the notice by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Before applying for the tests, candidates must meet the required JPSC Civil Services age restriction of 2025 as well as any other eligibility requirements. Admit cards will be issued to applicants who are eligible and pay the application fee by the deadline.

JPSC Age Limit 2025

Candidates must confirm that they are eligible to take the JPSC Civil Services Exam before applying for the position of JPSC Civil Services. The minimum and maximum age requirements to apply for the civil services examination are 21 and 35, respectively. However, candidates who fall under the reserved categories are granted considerable leeway. Reserved category candidates will be given age reductions in accordance with government regulations.

Women (General/Extremely Backward Classes)	Maximum 38 years
Ex-servicemen	As per the respective categories: Unreserved: 40 years BC I & II: 42 years SC/ST: 45 years Women (UR/EBC): 43 years

Ex-servicemen who have worked for the Jharkhand state government for at least three years will receive a five-year age reduction.
For age relaxation, only Jharkhand locals would be taken into consideration.
The age relaxation does not apply to men or women who have more than one spouse.
All certificates requested by the board must be dated prior to the candidate’s interview.

JPSC Education Qualification

To be eligible to apply for Civil Services positions, each candidate must meet the applicable JPSC Civil Service Eligibility requirements, which include the necessary educational requirements. The necessary educational requirements are detailed below:

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent degree.
Students in their final year are not eligible unless they pass their exam before the deadline for application submission.

Candidates must meet the physical conditions listed below in order to take the JPSC Civil Services Exam:

According to the JPSC Civil Services qualifying requirements, there are no limitations on how frequently candidates may apply for the JPSC Civil Services exam. Candidates may apply for the position from the minimum age requirement of 21 years old to the maximum age requirement of 35 years old, according to JPSC.
