Ishita Kishore, a graduate of Delhi University and the child of an Air Force officer, got first rank in the 2022 UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). The 26-year young lady passed the renowned test on her third try. She failed her preliminary exam on her first two tries.
There are currently 933 qualifying candidates for the 2022 civil services examination, including 613 men and 320 women. There are 14 women among the top 25 applicants. Ishita Kishore Biography
Ishita Kishore, a former Air Force officer’s daughter, works for the international company Ernst and Young. Her mother used to work as a private school teacher, while her elder brother is a lawyer. The topper follows Hinduism and belongs to Kayastha Caste. She is the younger of two siblings. Ishita Kishore participated in the Subroto Cup in 2012 and had previously competed at the national level of football. At the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University, she earned a degree in Economics with honours. She is from Uttar Pradesh and she cleared her UPSC examination by opting PSIR as her Optional.
She took part in a variety of extracurricular activities while she was in high school and college. She presided over Interact, a group sponsored by Rotary, and she participated in fictitious UN meetings at school events. During her time at college, she participated in the Economic Society and Literary Society. She was an intern for the NGO CRY as well.
