HCS Judiciary Exam Pattern 2024
The Haryana Civil Judge Exam comprises three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. Here’s a concise overview of the exam pattern:
Preliminary Examination
- Type: Objective with multiple-choice questions.
- Total Questions: 125.
- Marks: Each question carries four marks, totaling 500 marks.
- Negative Marking: 0.8 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 150 marks required (100 for reserved categories) to proceed to the Main Exam.
Main Examination
- Format: Subjective written papers, six in total (five written and one viva-voce).
- Qualifying Marks: A candidate must secure at least 33% marks in each written paper.
- Duration: Three hours for each written test.
Interview (Viva-voce)
- Eligibility: To qualify, a candidate needs an aggregate score of at least 50% in all Main Exam papers.
- Marks: Interview is worth 200 marks.
