69th Filmfare Awards 2024
The 69th Filmfare Awards 2024 the popular gala took place on January 28th, 2024 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The event featured hosting by Karan Johar, and performances by Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kartik Aaryan among others. Power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt emerged as the dominant figures, securing top honours for their outstanding performances in films from the previous year.
What is Filmfare Awards?
The Filmfare Awards are annual awards that recognize artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi-language film industry of India. The awards are presented by The Times Group and are one of the oldest film events in India, first introduced in 1954.
The 2024 Filmfare Awards took place on January 28 in GIFT City. The two-day celebration honoured the finest performances, filmmaking, storytelling, and technical excellence in the Hindi film industry. Sam Bahadur and Jawan won big in technical categories.
