The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) to recruit officers for the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Air Force Academy. The CDS exam is a two-stage offline exam, consisting of a written exam and an SSB interview. In This article we are discussing CDS Cut Off 2024 and Previous Year Cutoff of IMA, INA, AFA and OTA.

CDS Cut Off 2024

The minimum score needed to qualify for any exam is known as the cut-off. This article provides the previous year’s cut-offs for the prestigious Combined Defence Services Examination for the several branches of the esteemed Indian Defence Forces, namely the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA).

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is conducted twice a year, generally in the month of April and September.

CDS Cut-Off 2023

CDS 1 2023 Cutoffs are expected to be released soon. Final scores for recommended candidates were unveiled on February 1, 2024, after the CDS 1 2023 Final Result announced on January 27, 2024.
Cutoff marks are contingent on a myriad of factors such as the number of vacancies, exam difficulty, and candidate turnout. Expectations hover around 120-130 for IMA, 105-120 for INA, and 145-150 for AFA. Those who meet or exceed the written exam cutoff will advance to the Interview round, a pivotal step in the selection process.

CDS Cut-Off 2022 Written Exam

The CDS Exam’s written exam is its first phase. To qualify for the next step, which includes the SSB and the CDS exam, candidates must get the cutoff marks or higher on the exam. In each of the three papers, 20% is the required minimum score for the CDS exam in 2022. The written exam for CDS 2022 consists of three papers while candidates for OTA only need to take two papers.

CDS Cut Off 2022 Final Merit List

On the basis of performance in the Written exam, SSB Interview, and Medical examination, the merit list for CDS 2022 will be made available. Candidates who qualify for the CDS written exam in 2022 will be called for an SSB interview and a medical exam. After passing each of these stages, candidates will be selected for the vacant posts that UPSC announced for the Combines Defence Services exam.
