• The BPSC 69th Mains Exam consists of five papers: General Studies Paper I, General Studies Paper II, General Hindi, Essay, and an Optional Paper.
• The Optional Paper features multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• The duration of the BPSC 69th Mains Exam is 3 hours for each paper.
• To qualify for the General Hindi paper, candidates must achieve a minimum of 30% marks.
• The Optional Paper carries 100 marks and is of qualifying nature.

BPSC 69th Prelims 2023

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducted the 69th prelims exam on September 30, 2023. The exam was held from 12–2 PM at 488 exam centres in 31 districts of Bihar. More than 3 lakh applicants took the exam. The BPSC 69th Prelims 2023 Result was released on November 10, 2023.

The admit card was released on September 15, 2023, and the exam centre code details were released on September 26, 2023.
The BPSC exam has negative markings for all 150 questions. For every correct answer, candidates receive one mark, and for every wrong answer, 1/4 marks are deducted. Marking multiple options also results in a deduction of 1/4 or 0.25 marks.
