AP Group 2 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024 must fall within the age range of 18 to 42 years. The Andhra Pradesh Government norms allow for age relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to specific categories. The details of age relaxation are as follows:

SC/ST/BC/AP State Government Employees*: 5 years
PH (Physically Handicapped): 10 years
Ex-servicemen/NCC (who worked as an instructor)/Contract employees (state census department): 3 years

As of December 7, 2023, candidates are required to possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline to be eligible for the APPSC Group 2 Recruitment.

APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern

The exam mode can be either Offline or Online, as confirmed by the official notification.
There will be 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 01 mark in the APPSC Group 2 prelims exam.
The total duration of the prelims exam is 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes).
There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each incorrect answer.

The APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam consists of two papers, Paper I and II, each having 150 MCQs with 1 mark for each question.
