Steps to Apply Online for APPSC Group 1
For applying to any APPSC exam, candidates have to follow the steps given below:
- Step 1: Go to the official website, or click on the link given below.
- Step 2: Complete the OTPR (One-Time-Profile-Registration) process.
- Step 3: Click on New Registration for Direct Recruitment on the next page to get started.
- Step 4: The applicants must fill out the following fields: Aadhaar details, basic info, address info, educational qualifications, upload of a photo and signature, etc.
- Step 5: Carefully go over the data you’ve submitted, and then click “Submit.”
- Step 6: A screen will produce and show the Reference Id.
- Step 7: Visit the login page and enter your information.
- Step 8: Complete the form’s details and double-check them.
- Step 9:Submit the application and finish making the payment.
- Step 10:Submit the form and save/print the application receipt.
- Step 11: The payment reference id will be generated if the payment is successful.
- Step 12: Keep the application receipt on file for future communication and references.

APPSC Group 1 Educational Qualification
The candidates must be a graduate of the any recognized university in India. There are some posts that require additional qualifications. Check the special educational qualifications as mentioned below.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process 2024
The APPSC Group 1 exam is administered by APPSC in order to choose officers for the provincial civil services. The APPSC Group 1 exam consists of three stages.
- Prelims Exam: This stage is used to weed out non-serious candidates.
- Mains Exam: It is the merit-deciding round.
- Interview: It checks the thorough knowledge of the candidates of their expertise subject.
APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam
Prelims exam are screening tests that are given offline throughout Andhra Pradesh. By excluding the insincere candidates from the APPSC Group 1 exam, it accomplishes its goal. The admit card for the APPSC Group 1 Prelim exam is typically released seven to eight days prior to the test. The prelims test is solely qualifying in nature, and the results won’t be counted towards the APPSC Group 1 final merit list. APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam
To complete the examination procedure, applicants who pass the preliminary exam must pass the APPSC Group 1 main exam. The Main test uses the standard offline mode. The APPSC Group 1 merit list will take the results of the main exam into consideration. The main exam consists of seven question papers with traditional written answers. The Telugu and English papers are qualifying in nature; hence, their scores will not be counted towards the merit list.
